Four years ago I jumped on a plane on Christmas Day to be participant in a course I knew very little about, something about 'leadership' and 'scouts from the IAR'. Fast forward to December 2016 a former ILT graduate and now three time staffer, I have seen ILT from both inside and out. I have found that it is far more than a Leadership course. It is Baden-Powell's vision coming to life. Many of us, both Staffers and Participants have found family at ILT. Through the years I have received and shared my knowledge about leadership and service with over 183 scouts in the Interamerican region. All the time spent in group chats and skype calls was in effort to help build the region with active and constructive citizens. The stories are amazing, the bonds are untouchable and the amount of emotion in every conversation is insane. This year I had the pleasure of working as Senior Team Leader (Youth Lead) supported by and working along with some truly amazing persons. We stormed but through it all, love and laughter prevailed. I'll never forget the way we made each other feel. I will miss them for sure in the coming weeks, months and every time someone shares a #tbt picture. The outcomes are beautiful, approx. 61 scouts each year sharing their ideas on how to create a better world. Kesi
