ILAW SA PAG ADAL PROJECT (Share A Light Project) Covid 19 pandemic sent educational Institutions scrambling to move to modular distance learning. Self- Learning Modules (SLM) as mode of instruction was utilized to continue the classes of students in far flung communities. But some of these areas has no electricity. They are forced to use Kerosene Lamps as their source of light during night time. During the day kids are forced to help their parents in the fields to earn for a living. A 1 liter of kerosene is equal to 1 kilo of rice.

In order to help the students to study during the night, the Ilaw sa Pag-Adal Project better known as Share A Light Project aims to helps students by providing solar lamps in areas with no electricity. Positive outcome was observed as the students can now study during the night as parents accompanied them doing the modules. They also save some amount for not buying kerosene anymore. 26 solar lamps have been distributed in the areas of SitioBongcao Curry, Municipality of Pili; BgyMananao, Buyo and New Caaluan in Municipality of Tinambac, BgyCagsao and Cabanbanan in Municipality of Calabanga, Camarines Sur.

Thank you very much to our donors and sponsor who extended help to make this project possible. Share a Light Project is a Messenger of Peace Project of Bagacay Outfit 723 A Scout Go Solar Project of Eagle Scouts Association of Camarines Sur (ESACS)
