IDP-International Peace Day Celebration at HOME in covid pandemic

On September 21st, the International Day of Peace,  the NSO of Nepal released the activities pack. There were a number of activities which can do at their home and further many events like webinars, dialogues sessions where scouts can participate too. Following the instruction, I decided to do the "Trees for Peace" activity. So, I planted the small plants in small vessels in my balcony. The trees were not possible because they are too big.

Actually, a month ago, I collected many seeds of lime whenever I cut the lime for the lime water drink. Then, I sowed the seeds in a flat, broad, and about 5 cm high pot. After more than a week, buds grew from the seeds. Only a few seeds had the buds and the other did not. Among these seeds with buds, only two of them grew taller. So, today, I transferred these plants to a little larger vessel.

I felt that "The plants getting taller from the seeds we planted makes us a lot happier than buying a grown plant and replanting it. This could be because we valued the time we spent caring and waiting for the seed to grow into a plant more." However, the plantation is good for all and should be encouraged.
