Hiking plays an important role in Scouting. As a scout is it one of the activities that encourage to be a scout.

Beside this they played different types of Scouting activities which makes them energetic to walk around the hiking trail.

Today Coinciding with the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck and to remark the Children's Day; Rover Scouts from Royal Thimphu College carried out a hike from Debsi-Kuenselphodrang through the cycling trails.

Along the way apart from sight seeing and rapport building; various fun activities and scouting knowledge were being shared with the rover scouts about which a quiz was conducted.
