Growing in Scouting

🌱 **Project Visit Spotlight: A Greener Barbados: Scouts for Sustainability** 🌱 We were honored to welcome Monserrath Lopez, Manager of Education and Impact at the World Organization of the Scout Movement, to Barbados as we enter the final phase of our project A Greener Barbados Scouts for Sustainability, funded by World Scouting and UNICEF. Yesterday, we visited several key sites that formed part of the project, showcasing the progress achieved so far. One highlight was Walkers Reserve, where trees were planted as part of our reforestation efforts, an important step toward a greener, more sustainable Barbados. 🌳 At Barbados Boy Scout Headquarters, she met with the project management team, followed by a meet-and-greet with the Executive Committee of the Barbados Boy Scouts Association. The next two days promise to be just as impactful, with a workshop focused on incorporating the Champions of Nature Badge empowering Scouts to continue leading environmental action. Together, we are building a stronger, greener future one Scout at a time. 🌍⚜️ #agreenerbarbados #scoutsforsustainability #worldscouting #UNICEF #championsofnature barbadosscouts
