This is to share news of the demise of Narivelo RAKOTONIAINA alias NARY which occurred on 14 December 2016 in Paris. Aged 46 years, Narivelo was a distinguished member of the Tily ETO Madagasikara, National Commissioner for Rovers "Mpiandalana" Educational Program, and founder of the elder branch "Menafifiy" with the Tily Eto Madagasikara between 1998-2013. He joined the Scout Movement in 1983 as a Cub with the 6th Group at the Presbyterian Church of Soanierana in Tananarive. He ascended all the steps until he occupied the position of responsibility in his district and ultimately served as a national staff of the NSA. Described as a humanist, Narivelo, is regarded a pioneer of partnerships with various NGOs and inter-governmental agency for the development of Scouting in the Malagasy society. The burial is scheduled for 26 December 2016 in his homeland in Andranovaky, Ambohimangakely, Madgasacar after a memorial service at the Temple Paroisse Internationale Andohalo. We sympathize with all his family, his wife and two children. May our God grant him eternal rest.
