Food For Life Project

FOOD FOR LIFE Project The Food for Life programme helps fight hunger in Africa. FFL equips scouts and non-scouts (ages 7 to 26) with agricultural skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and resources to produce nutritious food for themselves and their families and generate household income. 2,320 people benefited from the project in six months. One of the major impacts the FFL programme has on young people is that they become equipped with agricultural skills to contribute to the attainment of food security for their families, schools and communities. 1. Strengthen FFL structures. 2. Enhance the FFL Proficiency Badge System. 3. Impart basic agricultural skills. 4. Determine the status of existing FFL gardens. 5. Recruit young people to become Scouts, and form Scout Groups. 6. Evaluate FFL impact. I learned that doing something for our communities is a big help for everyone. it can make our communities better and we can also help each other with any problems they have. I also learned that community projects and advocacy can change our lives a good one. I have also learned to be a leader, who properly manages time and also to be a great team player. On the other hand, I have also gained knowledge during the project.
