Plastic Pollution Challenge by the family of Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School under Thimphu Dzongkhag Khasdrapchu is involved in the collection of plastics and sends them to “The Green Road Bhutan,” a waste management company based in Jemina, Thimphu. Utilizing waste plastic in bituminous mix. The Green Road is Bhutan's first and only company that utilizes waste plastics in blacktopping roads. Since 2015, the company has blacktopped 160.5 km of road and reused 857 tons of waste plastics. Khasadrapchu MSS dedicates every Monday to measuring the collected plastics by every student (almost 900 students) within and outside the school campus. This is how students engage in fighting against plastic pollution.
