Dimasalang & Jose Protacio Rizal Chapter Community Pantry | Rizal Council

A 26-year old woman named Ana Patricia Non established a Community Pantry in Maginhawa, Quezon City. The pantry is made from a bamboo stall consists of rice, vegetables, vitamins, facemasks, and other daily needs. People who pass by can get anything they need, and give anything they can. The initiative's sole purpose is to help people who are struggling during this health crisis. Ms. Non's idea of a Community Pantry gained attention from the media. Due to this, organizations and other nearby communities are inspired and started establishing a Community Pantry of their own. Dimasalang outfit 1 and NESAPh Jose Protacio Rizal Chapter conducted community pantry in three (3) different municipalities of Rizal (San Mateo, Cainta, and Binangonan).

The organization distributed some goods such as vegetables, wet products, and canned goods and have reached out to more than 300 families since this program started. This kind of program promotes the spirit of kindness and generosity.
