During last year's floods the Scout Association of Croatia received financial support from WOSM and in addition to the efforts that have already invested by many scout associations and volunteers to help the afflicted residents of flooded areas. In consultation with the principal and teachers in Gunja’s primary school, it was decided that the Association will donate teaching supplies worth 10,000.00 HRK NSO’s Programme Commissioner, Katica Konstantinović gave the donation to Mr. Stipica Misura, Headmaster of Primary School "Antun and Stjepan Radic" in Gunja which consisted drawing equipment, books, artclass supplies, model solids, hoops, balls, cones, etc ... Part of the donation was handed over to the Company and persons with disabilities "Zvjezdice". In 2015, NSO will continue to cooperate with schools in Gunja and Račinovci. With the support of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport, we allready included some teachers in non-formal education programs connecting them with our associations in town Otok and Vinkovci so our NSO would grow in positive number.
