Climate Conversations with Scouts
A special meeting of Scouts was organized to discuss one of the most urgent issues of our time—climate change. The meeting began with an open discussion on how changing weather patterns, rising temperatures, and pollution are affecting our daily lives. Scouts actively shared their observations and concerns, making the session thoughtful and engaging.
During the meeting, leaders explained the causes and impacts of climate change and highlighted the role of youth in addressing this global challenge. Simple actions such as saving energy, reducing plastic use, planting trees, and conserving water were discussed as practical solutions that Scouts can adopt and promote in their communities.
The meeting strengthened the spirit of unity, responsibility, and service among the Scouts. It reminded everyone that climate action begins with awareness and commitment. Through discussion, learning, and collective resolve, the Scouts reaffirmed their role as responsible citizens and messengers of change, dedicated to protecting the Earth for present and future generations.
