Chasing Character at LRLA

The Nature Cross-Country Rally Competition (LRLA) is a scouting activity that combines adventure, skills, teamwork, and environmental awareness. Through this activity, every participant is encouraged to develop perseverance, discipline, responsibility, and the ability to work effectively as a team to overcome various challenges. As a Scout, I understand that LRLA is not only about winning the competition but also about building strong character. Throughout the journey, participants learn to appreciate nature, protect the environment, obey rules, and help one another within their team. The most valuable lesson I have gained from participating in this activity is the importance of teamwork. A team's success is not determined by the ability of one individual but by unity, effective communication, and mutual trust. In addition, the nature rally teaches the importance of maintaining good health, physical endurance, and courage when facing different obstacles. As a real commitment after participating in LRLA, I am determined to apply the values of Scouting in my daily life by keeping my school and home environment clean, disposing of waste properly, helping friends in need, being disciplined, and actively participating in community service and mutual cooperation activities. I hope that LRLA will continue to serve as a platform for young people to develop their skills, strengthen the bonds of friendship among Scouts, and shape individuals who are independent, have strong character, and care for the environment. Guided by the spirit of the Scout Promise (Tri Satya) and the Scout Law (Dasa Dharma), I am ready to become a Scout who contributes positively to myself, my community, my nation, and my country.
