A series of webinar was organized by the National Headquarter, the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Assam via Virtual Platform Zoom which Started from 19th September 2021 and ended with the grand celebration of the International Day of Peace 2021 on 21st September 2021. The theme of this year's IDP 2021 is Telling A Story. On the first day, we had a plenary session taken by Mr. Syd Castillo sir who gave a speech on Earth Tribe which is an initiative of WOSM basically on Sustainable Environment. The next session was followed by Shri Madhusudan A S who delivered speech on Scouts for Sustainable Development Goals. On the second day, we had a plenary session on Mrs. Cynthia Marquez Ma,am on SDG(Sustainable Development Goals) HUB. Mrs. Bijaya Deka Ma’am, also shared her story of contributing towards the humanity. Mr. Madhusudan A S sir also talked about the PROMISE TO THE PLANET. On the third day, we had plenary session taken by Shri S PRASSANNA SHRIVASTAVA on this year’s theme of the International Day of Peace which is Telling a Story. After he completed his plenary session, the grand celebration of the International Day of Peace started. The welcome address was presented by the Amar B Chetri Sir and Shri J C Mohanty gave the opening remarks. Shri P G R Sindhia Sir lightened the lamp and inaugurated the Grand Celebration. The report of the International Day of Peace across the nation was also shown as well a cultural program was beautifully presented by the IT Team. Everyone in the webinar danced on the MoP Beat Dance Song. A short message was also presented by Mr. Ahmad Alhendawi Sir and it was so inspiring to hear him. Many dignitaries graced the webinar. The celebration was ended the beautiful vote of thanks by Mrs. Darshana Pawaskar Ma’am. I really want to thank the BS&G, India for giving me this oppurtunity for attending the webinar. it was an enjoyable and worth attending webinar.
