Celebration of Constitution Day

On the occasion of Second Constitution Day, the Day was celebrated with great pomp by the Primary School Julad Unit of Bharat Scouts and Guides of District Udhampur under the chairmanship of Scout Master Amardev Singh. Panch Mukhtar Chand was present as the chief guest in the program. Ambedkar's statue was garlanded by all the students and representatives present there. During this, it was resolved to follow the ideals of Dr. Ambedkar. Highlighting the Indian Constitution, Scout Master Rakesh Sharma said that the Constitution is a set of written principles and examples of the Government of India which fulfills the basic political principles, procedures, rights, directive principles, restrictions and duties of the Government and the citizens of the country. It declares India as a sovereign, secular, socialist and democratic republic and assures equality, freedom and justice for its citizens. Giving information about the Constitution Day, Scout Master Amardev Singh said that great personalities including Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar worked hard and made the Constitution in accordance with the sacred spirit of democracy. The Constitution of India is the largest in the world. And the Indian Constitution is one of the best in the world, because it gives everyone the right to equality. At the end of the program the preamble was read out by Scouts and Guides. Panch Mukhtiar Chand praised the work done by Bharat Scouts and Guides and told that all the rules related to Covid19 were followed as per directions of Administration. The program mainly consisted of teacher Sunita Sharma, Nirmal, Suram Chand, Ved Prakash etc
