International day of Peace was celebrated in our school. The event was very important and we the scout members got a privilege to conduct the programme. The program was started with flag hosting ceremony by scouts. Subsequently, Welcome speech was delivered by the scout leader Mr. Tashi Pelden A. Mr. Sonam Jamstho (Teacher) shared why and when international day of peace is celebrated and talk about the peace. Mrs. Milan Gurung gave a talk on the Theme “Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world". Forest Officer gave awareness on the following topics that effect Climate; 1) Burning of Waste. 2) using Plastics. He shared measures on how to solve climate action by 3R’s that is Recycle, Reuse and Reduce. The scout also conducted mock drill on earthquake for safety and precaution. and also Desuup demonstrated on fire fighting and using fire extinguisher. The new scouts member were given scarfs by the chief guest. (investiture Ceremony) Followed by this, there was a talk on demonstration on No Breathing and Bleeding by (HA).
