Camp Norbu - Youth Scouts Camp
What inspired you to take up the project?
The camp is designed not only as a dedication but as a values-based learning experience: just as a jewel is shaped and polished, the program is structured to develop each participant's discipline, skill, and character through structured training, outdoor practice, and teamwork.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
participants learned
1. Trail and Map reading
2.safety and first aid
3. Knots craft and pioneering
4. Basic Drills
5. Navigation and adventure.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
With total of 102 participants from Lhayul PS and Jangchubling MSS and 8 facilitators, participants are given practical session.
Instead of running each practical session sequentially for all participants , the camp used a "Basecamp" rotation: four fixed stations, each staffed by its own facilitator team, deliver the same content four times as each patrol rotates through turn.
