Bridging Vision and Action
The Plan Stage of the Impact Innovators Challenge lets Scouts to pilot test their solution in the community. It challenges Scouts to work together and make a plan, which includes their roles and responsibilities to make the plan more achievable.
Scouts from Lualu Rover Circle 9 and San Isidro National High School initially visualized the result they want to achieve through an activity called Newsflash, where Scouts create a news headline that exhibits the impact of their project in the community. It inspires the Scouts to create a sound plan in order for them to produce the results they want to achieve. The Scouts carefully considered multiple factors that may affect the outcome of the project.
"Through this stage, I learned the value of teamwork, patience, and proper planning. I also learned how important it is to listen to others, accept feedback, and always look at the bigger picture. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, and I’m excited to move forward knowing we have a clear plan to guide us." -Ezekiel
Although overwhelmed with many things that needed to be prepared to ensure the success of the Pilot project, the Scouts are motivated enough to realize their vision in San Luis, Pampanga.
