Asia Pacific Messenger of Peace Conference Day 1

The Asia Pacific Region Messengers of Peace Conference was scheduled to be organised from 24th to 27th June 2021 at Zoom Platform (IST – 00.30 Hrs – 16.30 Hrs). The participants joined the conference at 00.30 Hrs then after the announcement and Introduction regarding the conference with motivational reflection were given by Mr. Paul Parkinson OAM, MoP Regional Decision Committee. On the very first day on 24.06.2021, Mr. Kailash Pillay Day In - Charge introduced both the Master of Ceremony Mr. Ritesh Prasad Champ (Fiji Scout Association) & Ms. Celesta Cananua (Boy Scout of the Philippines) Opening Ceremony was started at 00.50 hrs and the Opening remarks was delivered by Mr. Ram Prasad Bhattarai, APR MoP Conference Project Head from Nepal Scout Association. Video Presentation on 10 years of Messengers of Peace was shown. Welcome, Address was delivered by Mr. JR C. Pangilinan, Regional Director WOSM, APR. Chairman World Scout Committee Mr. Craig Turpie was present on the conference and share his experiences and bless the participants for making a Better world. Global Messengers of Peace Report presented by Ms. Cynthia Marquez, Senior Manager, Educational Methods and MoP Network. MoP APR Regional Report was presented by Mr. S. Prasanna Srivastava, Director Organizational Development and Messengers of Peace WOSM, APR in the conference ( A decade of MOP 2011 - 2021) through PowerPoint Presentation and Video. The NSO’s Bangladesh, Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam,  Present their Success Stories on Messengers of Peace, which was shown in front of all the participants at the Conference. Global MoP Hero 2018 Hiu Lam Fang from The Scout Association of Hong Kong & APR MoP Hero 2018 Mr. Kailash Vimal Pillay from Fiji Scout Association share their experience and their success stories through video. In the end Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Kailash Pillay In – Charge of Day – 1. The Conference of Day – 1 was ended with this and Thanking with Each Other.
