The 6th Programme of Skills for beginners have begun today. This annual programme is specially conducted for the new cub scouts and scouts joining the scout movement in Arabiyya Scout Group. It will be held for 2 days with 24 Cub Scouts and 28 Scouts. Scouts and Cubs will be taught many important lessons of tenderfoot including Scout promise, History of Scouting, knotting and First Aids. The main aim of this programme is to instill Scouts and Cubs more about scout movement and the opportunities available for young people in scouting. This training, facilitated by Rover Scouts and Leaders of ASG, will be a learning and unforgettable experience for the participants as, for the first time they will be spending a night away from home.
