Yesterday was the day of arrivals. Finally all the hard work put into place by staff can be put into place. The camp site was asolutely transformed in compared to yesterday when the campsite seemed bare and empty. After the morning meeting with the Social Media Team, I headed off to Yamaguchi train station in order to greet the arrivals. Thousands of Scouts passed through that day from mexico to the United Kingdom. Some looked absolutely shattered from the long journey, others were energized and excited, high fiving me as they lugged their huge bags past! That evening, the excitement on the camp had increased drastically, it finally feels like a jamboree! In the food area, music was playing and everybody was dancing and having an absolutely great time despite how sweaty everybody was! it was all great fun and you could already see all the different people experiencing different cultures. And this is just the start.
