Anti-Bullying Programme for Safe Learning
What inspired you to take up the project?
Bullying affects students’ well-being, confidence, and learning. Anti-Bullying Week (12–16 October 2026) united the school to promote kindness and respect, led by Peer Helpers in collaboration with the Wellbeing Team, counsellor, Scouts Coordinator, and teachers.
1. Raise awareness of what bullying is and how it affects others.
2. Promote kindness, respect, and inclusion.
3. Teach students what a bystander can do and who to approach for help.
4. Develop student leadership through Peer Helpers.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
The project developed values of kindness, empathy, respect, inclusion, responsibility, courage, and cooperation. I learned that peer support and whole-school participation are essential in preventing bullying. Engaging students from PP to IX promoted positive behaviour, while awareness of where to seek help strengthened students’ safety, well-being, and sense of belonging.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
With the Principal's approval, the Wellbeing Team, counsellor, Scouts Coordinator, teachers, and Peer Helpers organized Anti-Bullying Week (12–16 October 2026). Activities included assembly speeches, kindness posters and crafts, a Khenpo’s talk, a "One Kind Act" challenge, an awareness session for Classes IV and V, and feedback collection with recommendations.
