🌿✨ All About Gullies! ✨🌿

🌿✨ All About Gullies! ✨🌿 The Biodiversity Conservation & Management Section (BCMS) of the Ministry of the Environment, in partnership with the Barbados Boy Scouts Association through their Green Skills Project, “A Greener Barbados: Scouts for Sustainability”, hosted an engaging workshop at St. George Primary School. 📚 Topic: “All About Gullies” — introducing students to the importance of gully ecosystems and the threats they face. 👩🏽‍🏫 Audience: 143 students + 8 teachers 💡 Outcome: Lively discussions, curious questions, and strong interest from students and staff. Special thanks to Principal Mrs. Deborah Waithe-Jones who is also the Leader of the school’s Scout Group and the students for their enthusiasm. Plans are already underway for follow-up activities like a gully clean-up and reforestation around the school. 🌱 Together, we are reconnecting children with their environment and building a greener future. 💚⚜️
