In the continued effort to improve scouting and community services in Zambia, the Zambia Scout Association has continued to train more scouts as Messengers of Peace and U-Reporter. In this vien 42 Scouts from Heroes Stadium Group of Lusaka under went emergency first aid training for a day on 13th November and also became MoP champs after under going the Messengers of Peace and U-report training the following day.

The two trainings that took place at the groups meeting place, the Heroes Stadium were conducted by St. John Zambia and the ZSA secretariat respectively. A combined team of scout leaders, youths and cubs participated and appreciated the effort calling for more such trainings to be conducted to enlighten more scouts on the issue and allow them to become ambassadors of dialogue and peace in their communities.

The group Leader, Abedenigo Mulele said his group would strive to offer more services to their community now that they understand their roles fully after the training. 

He promised to assess their community and find what they as scouts could do to contribute to the betterment of the people their.
