The Ogun State Scout Council join the world in the 2017 Edition of JOTA/JOTI in with over 100 Scouts in attendance. The event was held at the State Headquarter ita iyalode, Abeokuta and was formally flag off by the SSC Prince Kola Adewale LT. A key note address was delivered by ACC (DISI),Ap. Tola Adenekan LT. The official opening ceremony has in attendance two Assistant State Commissioners, Mr. Sola Leigh and Ms Bimbo Abili, Two National Headquarter Commissioners, Mr P.O Feyisetan and Mr Seun Asimolowo, State Headquarter Commissioners, Provincial Commissioners and District Commissioner. Over 10 desk top and lap top computers equipped with internet facilities were been utilised. The group connect with fellow scout via the internet from over 15 countries around the world among other countries are Palestine, Indonesia, Germany, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, United State of America, United Kingdom, Sri lanka, Mexico, Holland, Canada etc. Also participated in different game activities and the camp fire was observed to bring the event to an end. The youngest participant for this year event is BAZIT ADETUNJI (4years old) from Onibunkun Local Association, Awori Province. The Youth and DISI department facilitated the event. #AfricaScouts
