The Scout Association of Zimbabwe held its first Solar Instructors Training workshop aimed at fostering the solar energy education and furthering of the Scout Go Solar programme for the young people in Scouting. The workshop had 35 participants from various parts of the country covering 5 of the 8 provinces in Zimbabwe. The workshop helped Participants to understand the secret behind solar energy and how to take advantage of it in all daily human actions. The training was held at the National Headquarters in Harare. All this was done to strengthen the implementation of the World Scout Environmental Programme.
