16th Scout Leadership Training ❤🇧🇹
In January 2023, I had the privilege of attending the 16th Leadership Training for scouts, a milestone I had diligently worked towards. This youth leadership program proved to be instrumental in fostering discipline and honing my leadership skills, empowering me to contribute effectively as a responsible citizen of Bhutan.
The training was a tapestry of growth and kinship, where bonds blossomed from shared trials and victories. Each sunrise PT and marathon conquered forged trust and camaraderie, as cultural rhythms and survival skills intertwined our spirits. Lessons in law and leadership were like guiding stars, illuminating our collective journey. Amidst expeditions and spiritual quests, we found solace and laughter, weaving threads of friendship strong enough to weather any challenge.
In the realm of steel and courage, we also embraced the art of weaponry with steady hands and resolute hearts. From meticulous drills to the exhilaration of live firing, each moment honed our skills and forged a bond of trust. Scaling heights through rappelling, we defied gravity with every descent, united in the thrill of overcoming fears together. These experiences were more than skills acquired—they were rites of passage, marking our journey towards leadership with valor etched in every step and every shot fired.
The pinnacle of the training was the solemn oath-taking ceremony during the passing out parade, marking our official transition into youth leadership. The oath-taking ceremony crowned us not just leaders but guardians of each other's dreams, bound by resilience and the promise to walk together, forevermore.
