100 years of Scouting in Bangladesh and 100 years of Cubbing

Bangladesh Scouts Celebrates 100 years of Cub Scouting and 100 Years of Scouting in Bangladesh this year, the main event was held during the 8th National Cub Camporee. A beautiful sight of 6,000 Cub Scouts in colourful traditional dresses as they welcomed the guests and participants of the 8th National Cub Camporee at the National Scout Training Centre, Mouchak, Bangladesh, on 22-27 January 2016 The activity “We are all Kings” was one of the many activities prepared for the camporee making the atmosphere exciting and alive. Joining the 6,000 Cub Scouts were the 840 unit leaders, 460 Rover Scouts and 432 Scout Leaders. Prime Minister H.E Sheikh Hasina formally opened the Camporee with the Ministers of Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women & Children, Ministry of Industry and other ministers from different government agencies.
