The Freedom of speech and free expression on opinions and views, and also the right to disapprove are an integral part of the Indian democracy. One of the many gifts that a newspaper gives to readers is a connection to each other. When we share our opinions on a certain topic we have a better understanding of people unlike  ourselve. A brief introduction to Scouting Waves.A year ago, a great leader got a sparkling idea in his mind that is our state chief commissioner Shri.PGR Sindhia. It took less than a month to gather youths and start working on the newspaper. On this day, 1st of June, the very first edition of the Scouting Waves was published and we were happy to get a wonderful response from the young readers.

The Scouting waves has achieved a new milestone in its journey by marking the completion of 1 year. Scouting waves is an E-Newspaper which is an initiative by The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Karnataka headed by SCC Shri.PGR Sindhia Sir. The Scouting Waves team comprises of contributors all below the age of 20 years. We publish latest news about Scouting from all over Karnataka. We also publish contents related to international days, scouting activities, stories and puzzles. We all, at Scouting Waves, feel that it's our responsibility towards the noble cause of providing the right kind of information to the young minds because today's young readers are tomorrow's leaders.

 Scouting Waves has made its presence felt not only across India but also globally among the young readers of Malaysia, Philippines, USA, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.  We’ve achieved so much in the time we’ve been here and gained a lot ourselves too. Well this is just the beinging of the course, but it doesn’t really stop here - it’ll soon be time to be thinking about organizing the next one.
