On 3rd March, 2021 twenty volunteer scouts from different schools under Thimphu thromde have attained a awareness program on Tide Turners Plastic Challenge. As part of the solution for Waste Management issue and concern for Environmental degradation, Scouts will carryout numerous projects including awareness and advocacy program through Tide Turners Plastic Challenge with objective to bring positive behavioral changes among young people on plastic usage. Through such program, we intent to reduce or recycle waste and put in practice the most possible alternatives over plastic usage bringing greater awareness on plastic waste.
