Zhabto at Dechenphodrang, Thimphu
I am motivated by the community service done by the people so far. moreover by the scout law of being polite and considerate as well as loving the nature. I am inspired to take this project to see the comfort and safety of the people who will be benefited by it.
My project was implemented at Dechenphodrang in Thimphu. at around 8 am we the scouts gathered infront of Dechenphodrang lhakhang and then we started to clean the all the toilets including public as well as monk's toilet. After that we sanitized ourselves and briefed a short hygiene awareness.
It was helpful to keep Dechenphodrang lhakhang clean and hygienic. It was even helpful for the health of monks and the visitors there. There will be less chances for spread of communicable diseases.
I was able to learn new things like feeling of being helpful to the people, doing good deeds with good thoughts and most of all how to make a better place to live. I can make this project better by gathering more scouts to do community service so that it would take less time to do more work.
