The introduction of the WOSM Services marks a shift in the way WOSM delivers support to NSOs: the model aims at coordinating and focusing efforts across all WOSM regions, in order to deliver the best possible support and services to NSOs. In order to deliver the services and support the roll-out of the new model, WOSM needs to train consultants who will be capable of delivering the services directly to NSOs – from supporting them on the review of their youth programmes, over improving their diversity and inclusion policies, to supporting them in their strategic planning processes. These consultants will need to be trained in both general consultancy skills, as well as knowledge and skills specific for each of the 12 services. The project aims to provide them a holistic induction, training and monitoring of their deployment to deliver services. The number of direct support visits to NSOs (conducted by consultants) per service is determined based on the needs of NSOs for support in each area. These direct support visits will be planned within the work plans of each service. This project will ensure that 60 consultants (both WSB staff and volunteers) are equipped with the adequate skills and knowledge to deliver support to NSOs.
