World water Day

Water is one of the most valuable natural resources on Earth, and every living being depends on it for survival. However, water is often wasted through careless habits such as leaving taps running, using more water than necessary, and failing to repair leaking taps and pipes. This inspired us to raise awareness about the importance of conserving water and using it responsibly.

Through our initiative, we aim to encourage students and the wider school community to develop good water-saving habits. Simple actions such as turning off taps properly, repairing leaks, avoiding unnecessary water use, and reusing water whenever possible can make a significant difference. By saving water today, we can help ensure that there is enough clean water available for future generations.

As Scouts, we believe that protecting natural resources is our responsibility. Water conservation not only protects the environment but also supports the health and well-being of people, animals, and plants. Therefore, we should all work together to prevent water wastage and make every drop count.

In honor of World Water Day on March 22nd, 2026, a dedicated group of student volunteers and our Health Coordinator worked together to clean our local water sources. The team focused on cleaning nearby water tanks, streams, and groundwater areas to ensure our water stays safe and accessible. By removing plastic waste, decayed leaves, and drywood, these volunteers successfully improved the surrounding environment and showed a commitment to keeping our community clean and healthy.
The lesson that I have learned from this project is that in Earth water is drinkable. Reveal that only about 3% is fresh, and much of that is locked in glaciers.save water today, and stay alive everyday.
