World Scout-Better World Village in 31st APR Scout Jamboree

The Scout Association of Mongolia collaboration with Asia Pacific Support Centre to set up 'Better World Village' in 31st Asia Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree, Nairamdal International Children’s Complex, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 27 July to 2 August, 2017. In this we organized various activities MoP Pavilions: Station 1: Sharing the Idea Station 2: What Does Peace Mean to You Station 3: Patrol System Station 4: What is MoP Station 5: Introduction to scout.org Station 6: MoP Beat WSEP (SGS) Pavilions: Station 1: Solar Cooking Station 2: Solar Games Station 3: Solar Art Station 4: Solar Gadget Station 5: WSEP Scouts of the World Award Pavilion: Station 1: SWA Discovery Station 2: SWA Passport Station 3: Book bridge Builder An inspired team of MoP Coordinators and volunteers under the leadership of Mr. Bayasgalan Bold with Mr. S Prassanna Srivastava from APR, Ms. Uyanga from Mongolia, Ms. Lerchanta Ally Seeluangsawat from Thailand and Mr. Yaz Sarona from Philippines, Mr. Madhusudan Alwa from India together with volunteers and IST from 10 different countries for the scout/guides and leaders to learn about Messengers of peace and other projects of WOSM like Scouts Of The World Award, Scouts Go Solar, World Scout Environment Programme. In 7 days all ambassador and volunteer interacted with 6500 scouts, Adult leaders from Mongolia, Australia, Philippines. Indonesia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Sri lank, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, United Kingdom, USA, Slovak, Vietnam. They enjoyed and learned a lot in Video Theater, MOP Beats, Alele Song , Networking Game, Scout.org, Scouts Of The World Award, Scouts Go Solar Bases. On an average each served 6 Hours a day for 8 days =48 Hours The Service Hours rendered are 6 Hours x 8 Days x 45 MoP Coordinators and volunteers = 2160 Service Hours Preparation of Better World Village from 1 June to 24 July, 2017 Each served 8 hours a day for 54 days =432 Hours Service hours for volunteers help of preparation 8 hours x 54 days x 20 Volunteers= 8640 Service hours Total service hours are 2160 + 8640= 10800 service hours
