Wangdue Pry. school scouts organised fruit tree plantation  in the school campus with help from Dzongkhag Education Office. We have planted 57 saplings to mark the day and We could involved whole schole for plantations and create awareness on the day.

Rationale:

Environment plays important roles in the healthy living of human beings. It matters because it is the only home that humans have, and it provides air, food shelter and other needs. Humanity’s entire life support system depends on the well-being of all the environmental factors and it is source of natural beauty.

Day

The World environment day will be celebrated on 5th of this month, 2019 and the school observe by   carry out mass plantation in and around our school campus by the following personals (allotted classes and teachers). This program is particularly setup in continuation with 2nd June (National Social Forestry Day to commemorate the coronation Day of His Majesty the 4th Druk Gyalpo.

Approach:

The concern class teachers and teachers attached are responsible in nurturing the issued plants,   such as fencing, watering daily, maturing   and weeding. The concerns in-charges are required to hand over the same at the end of academic year to non academic head/nature club in-charge.
