World Day Against Trafficking in person 2025

Many people are unaware that trafficking can happen close to home — through false promises of jobs, education, or travel. I wanted to be a voice of awareness and prevention. As a Scout and community leader, I believe it's our duty to protect and empower others. Educating the youth and the community is one of the most powerful ways to fight trafficking. Knowledge is a form of protection. When people understand the signs, the risks, and where to report, they become harder to exploit.
To educate the youth and local community about human trafficking, its signs, prevention strategies, and how to report it, in support of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2025 Used visual materials, real-life stories, and interactive discussions to make the message relatable. And gave emergency help line.
Through the project, participants gained a better understanding of what human trafficking is, including how it happens within local communities through false promises. They learned to recognize warning signs, protect themselves, and safely report suspected cases. they realized that by sharing knowledge, they can help protect others and save lives.
