WORKSHOPS ON STRATEGIC PRIORITIES PPNBD BRUNEI
This project was organised by the Committee for Implementers and Monitors for Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association Strategic Plan 2014 - 2024 to socialise policies, procedures currently or to be implemented in BDSA. The priority areas in this strategic plan are: Administration, Finance, Youth Programme, Adult Resource, Membership Growth and Communications.
The workshops were held on:
31/1/20 : Finance
24/2/20: Administration and Adult Resource
28/2/20: Youth Programme
14/8/20 : Membership Growth and Communications
The programme participants were Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons, Secretaries, Treasurers, District Commissioners and relevant Assistant District Commissioners from all 4 district associations in Brunei Darussalam. The workshops were supposed to be completed by April 2020 but due to CoVid19, were completed by August 2020
Follow up to the workshops will be the publication of handbooks on the policies and procedures for the above strategic priorities which are to be disseminated to all stakeholders i.e. Commissioners, District associations, Leaders and AIS in all 4 districts.
The committee for Implementers and Monitors hopes that with the dissemination and publication of the documents, Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam will have function much better with a smoother running management at national and district levels.
This project will also serve as a benchmark for future Strategic Plans for the association
