Girls between the ages of 9 and 12 suddenly face a new experience called menstruation. Many girls avoid this matter, many feel shy, many are scared and do not tell their parents or anyone, it often leads to physical harm and disease. At this time girls need proper guidelines, One such session was organized in Chandpur district, where girls were given ideas on what to do for their first period and how to keep themselves physically and mentally healthy.
One such session was organized by Project Wheels of Peace at Lady Pratima Mitra Girls' High School in Chandpur district, where girls were given ideas on what to do for their first period and how to keep themselves physically and mentally healthy. Also during period personal hygiene is discussed with the girls and menstrual pads are distributed among the girls.
