Over the weekend, a Woodbadge course, Part 1 Scout section, (Manikayu Peringkat 1 Unit Pengakap Muda) was organised by PPMWPKL. 2 courses were run for the different units, Cub unit by Mr Mark Surash and Scout unit by Mr Chong Beng Ming. The course were run to teach Rover scouts and volunteer Scout Leaders to begin their journey after the Woodbadge Intruductory course. Throughout the course, we were thought on the basics of a Scout troop, the Patrol system, and the Scout programme for the age of 12 and a half to 15. Also we were thought on the relationship between PPM and our school education system. Throughout the camp/course, we were thought on basics scout skills and were given an opportunity to lead our patrol throughout the camp. Other trainers that were involved include Mr Danny Yue Mr Chai Mr Timmy Foo Ms Stella Lai Mr Bashah Mr Hilmi Abu Bakar Mr Choo Yit Meng The highlight of the course were the participants of the course tying their Gilwell woggles for our spare time activity. Finally, the course ended with Dato' Dr Elli, State Commissioner of PPMWPKL, presenting our course certificate.
