Wesak Day Duty

This event was held because of a Chinese traditional festive celebration, Wesak Day. Being a Chinese i was really interested in joining this event.
Before the event, we were at the temple getting ready for the opening of the event by helping the monks set up all the preparations and keeping the place clean. During the event, we were at our stations fulfilling out duties. During the closing ceremony, we were in charge of escorting the VIPs during the parade.
We were able to lessen burden of the volunteers and allowing the event to proceed smoothly
I learnt how to appreciate traditional festive celebrations and i was able to gain extra experience.
