A Week Of Hope....!
To put some smile on the lovely faces of the children and the people who live in the streets we did this project. I as a member of The Bharat Scouts & Guides with the help of a NGO named Operation Hope Kolkata did this awesome "Week of Hope."
The whole project was implemented at Barrackpore a city in West Bengal from 24th-31st December, 2022. We did a meal and ration drive at an Orphanage near the railway station. Then we did a 6 days continuous drive of distributing Winter Blankets to the people living on streets.
About 500 people in total got beneficiated. They at least got some hope from us.
By doing this project we got a different feeling of celebrating the new year. And we again proved that "Service to Humanity is Service to God."
