32 Rovers came together to offer their services to manage the crowd during the recent festival in the Dzong (Fortress) in Punakha, Bhutan. Thousands of people gathered to receive blessings during the two day festival. The Rovers ehelped in crowd control as well as help elderly and senior citizens to get inside the fortress and receive the blessings. The Rovers coordinated with the Police Officials to conduct event management and crowd control.
The Rovers also carried people with disability to watch the events during the festival. Rovers helped in carrying people in wheel chairs and old people who cannot walk. The festival is a once in lifetime event which people like to witness.
Through this service, Rovers were able to exhibit to the community that scouting is all about sharing happiness, love, peace and harmony. scouting is all about helping people and connecting with the community. Rovers offered their services from 6:00AM till 10:30 PM.
