The International Volunteers Day was held on 5th December 2015, at the FoodCourt Racecourse Colombo 07.Sri Lanka. Plenty of Volunteer organizations were present at the event & One representative from the each volunteer organization was given an opportunity to deliver an inspirational speech with regard to the organization volunteerism. I, Mohamed Nazeef Farook was given the opportunity by Sri Lanka Scout Association to deliver the Volunteer Speech on behalf of the Scout Movement. That was a great opportunity to me to share my Volunteer experiences to impress the Volunteers & was able to invite the participants to be come Messengers of Peace. As the event was held from 10am to 6pm, all the volunteer organizations had displayed their volunteer activities conducted. The participants were able to make new friends while enjoying the fun activities conducted by the UN Volunteers. Volunteer day became a great day to me to get to know other friends of UN Volunteers, Sri Lanka Unites, AISAC , SARVODAYA & was able to be registered so that we would be acknowledge on the future event so that we could join hands on the events organized by such organizations.
