Volunteer for peace and harmony.
It motivated me to see harmony and peace to be spread to less fortunate kids and refugee families in this Christmas. Just to see hundreds of happy faces and lots of laughter amongst them by giving them toys.
It was in the Seagate community center in Brooklyn, NY. And I was going to serve the community by handing over all the toys to kids that needed them this Christmas.
They benefited about 175 to 200 kids with toys that were donated by the community. The parents and guests were very impressed with troop 238 scouts handing over the toys,,that made all the kids very happy and grateful during this Christmas time.
I learned the value of giving and spreading peace, harmony and love during the holiday. I will try to make it better by implementing more flyers to the surrounding neighborhoods, so everyone could have a toy in the need of one.
