Vitamin A Plus Vaccination Campaign
Rajuk Uttara Model College Scout Group actively contributes to child health by ensuring vitamin A supplementation for underprivileged children. Our community service impacts local residents, emphasizing collective well-being. Additionally, we raise maternal awareness about vitamin A’s significance. Our commitment reflects dedication to public health and community service. 🌟
We executed the Vitamin A Plus Campaign with proper planning, awareness campaigns, and vaccination administration. Six senior scouts from our unit volunteered at the program held at UTPS, Sector#06, Uttara, Dhaka on Feb 20, 2023.
Scouts were educated on the 'Expanded Program of Immunization' (EPI) and the issues of Vitamin A vaccination. Red Vit-A capsules were given to children over 12 months but less than 5 years, whereas Blue Vit-A capsules were given to children less than 12 months.
