Vitamin A Plus Campaign 2023
The appetite for doing something good for the world, for the planet, and for the people inspired me to take up this project.
On 18 June 2023, National Vitamin "A" Plus Campaign was conducted throughout the country. We worked at Mirpur-13 under Dhaka North City Corporation, Dhaka-1216 with Surjer Hasi Clinic. We voluntarily worked for eight hours from 8 AM to 4 PM. We worked at three venues. And provided capsules to more than 1200 children aged of 6 months to 59 months.
We provided Vitamin "A" capsules to almost 1200 children. Vitamin "A" Capsules prevent children from blindness as well as ensure their natural growth. It reduces the rate of death by 24% of children. It protects children from measles, diarrhea, and pneumonia.
These types of projects should have been launched more and more and every civic citizen should come forward to encourage these types of projects.
