Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign-2023
Altruism is a noble virtue. If it is said that what is the result of this action then it is only honor and respect. It is not only the food and clothes that can stand by the people. They can also be served by making them health conscious. And with this in mind I joined this project.
Every year, the Bangladesh government comes out with a vitamin-A capsule campaign on February 20. Children are given free vitamin capsules on this day. In continuation of that, Vitamin-A campaign was organized in Rajshahi under the initiative of Rajshahi City Corporation. Initially we were trained on 19th February, then on 20th we successfully conducted the campaign.
The campaign was not just about giving away vitamin A capsules. Many did not know what it is or why? We are helping them with this information. As a result, they have also become aware. They are motivated to give vitamins to their children, they know the benefits of vitamin A.
If District Rover had not given me the opportunity to be with this project, I might not have learned so much about vitamins. I was surprised to learn how important vitamins are to our bodies. I may never forget the experience of feeding vitamins to small children. Above all, never forget the work experience at the field level.
