Vitamin "A+" Campaign Service | June 1, 2024

My inspiration to volunteer at the National Vitamin A+ Campaign as a Rover Scout because of my strong commitment to community service and public health. I believe every child deserves a healthy start, and access to essential vitamins is key. Seeing the positive impact on children's health motivates me, and the values I’ve gained as a Rover Scout drive me to make a tangible difference in my community.
As a Rover Scout, I implemented the National Vitamin A+ Campaign by distributing vitamin A capsules to children at different centers in Dhaka and Savar. I carried out my responsibilities with care and respect at the Maternal and Child Health Training Institute in Azimpur, Dhaka. Over two days, we distributed capsules to more than 750 children and provided health information to their parents, ensuring no child was overlooked.
From my involvement in the National Vitamin A+ Campaign project, I understood the significance of teamwork, communication, and community involvement in public health initiatives. Coordinating logistics, engaging with diverse groups, and educating parents about health benefits provided me with valuable experience. This project reiterated the impact of volunteer work on enhancing community health and emphasized the ongoing necessity for public health education and support.
