A total of national Vitamin-Plus expeditions were held nationwide July 14 ( Saturday )to provide vitamin A plus capsules for all children from six months to 59 months old. Capsules are provided under National Program for 1.95 million children aged between six months and 11 months old and between 12 and 49 months of age. Children between the ages of six to 11 months will be given high-quality vitamin A capsules, while 12 to 59 months old children will get red-colored people. Vitamin A capsules are provided to children at around 120,000 permanent health centers across the country In addition, additional 20 thousand mobile centers will be set up at Bus Station, Railway Station, Launch Terminal, Airport, Ferry Terminal, Bridge Toll Center and Khia Ghats and it will be open from 8am to 4pm Trained scouts volunteer work in every center. After distribution of Vitamin A Plus capsules regularly, the rate of blindness of children in the country has dropped below one percent.
