Visit Elderly who live alone
Elderly live alone is one of the elderly issue in Hong Kong. Due to their health state, some of them didn't communicate with their friend and even leave their home for over three months.
On 31-Dec-2022, Homantin District, Hong Kong Scout Association sent out around 75 scouts and leaders to visit the elderly who live alone in Hung Hom District, Hong Kong. We bring them gift and and talk to them to try to understand their needs and reflecting their needs to different NGO.
Around 70 people was benefited and our scout members can learn more about the challenge that elderly who live alone facing in Hong Kong.
Learn that the support from Government on the elderly who live alone is sufficient.
