Two Drops, A Lifetime of Protection
All children deserve to grow up healthy, strong and free from preventable disease. By taking initiative in the Pulse Polio campaign, we are not just helping to administer two drops of vaccine – we are protecting dreams, supporting families and building a healthier future for our nation. The true measure of service is the positive difference we make in the lives of other people. A little bit of volunteering can go a long way to ensure no child is left vulnerable to polio.
I successfully executed this Pulse Polio service project by coordinating with the health workers and volunteering at the vaccination booth. I helped create awareness among parents, guided them to the vaccination centre, assisted in maintaining order, and encouraged them to ensure every eligible child received the two life-saving drops. Through teamwork, dedication, and a spirit of service, I contributed to the successful implementation of the Pulse Polio campaign.
Through this Pulse Polio service project, I learned the importance of community service, teamwork, and public health awareness. I understood how even a small contribution can help protect children from preventable diseases and support a healthier society. The project also improved my communication, leadership, and responsibility while serving the community.
